If I were coerced to keep but one Residents release in my collection, this would be the one. In fact, I strongly suggest this release to any casual fan who doesn't know where to start with this legendary band (the hefty price tag is well worth it!) It's basically the perfect place to get an overall picture of everything they've ever put out. Many have complained about the countdown of the concentrated versions of the early albums, but I dare anyone to find a better way to get a comprehensive taste for each of them to the uninitiated. To end it all with the extremely rare Aircraft Damage off of Santa Dog even feels like a Christmas gift to me! We also get a CD full of singles including some that are not available anywhere else but the original releases (the wonderful Earth Vs Flying Saucers or Where Is She? for example). The icing on the cake however is Roosevelt, filled with exclusive and rare odds and ends from throughout their career, it's a must have.
