If it weren't for the impeccable production and the clean vocals and samples, this could easily pass for a cleaned up and relatively quiet Wolf Eyes (just listen to Viva Rock'n'Roll (Live In Yaroslavl) and tell me I'm wrong). Most of the record is completely beatless, relying more on odd noises and treated samples and instruments, but the comparison is interesting when checking the background of these artists: one has roots in hardcore punk while the european counterpart is based in post-punk noise and industrial. Fans of glitch and noise should definitely hunt this one down. The russian vocals (by Borisov) sound superfluous to these ears, but the noise is really fascinating throughout. The title track is particularly good, the way it mangles the saxophone samples and makes the instrument sound dangerous instead of warm. CD comes in the usual minimal packaging of the label.
