Isengrind

National Flag

Having already dangerously fallen in love (my wallet has taken a serious blow here folks) with Natural Snow Buildings' masterful brand of haunting psychedelic soundscapes, it was only natural for me to start investigating the two member's different side projects. Isengrind is Solange Gularte's moniker when she flies solo and fly she does. The differences between this and the bulk of her work as a duo are quite slim. Once again we are treated to drifting and nebulous psychedelic folk with a penchant for drone and the esoteric. There is perhaps a slightly stronger leaning towards folk here, but it's unnoticeable and irrelevant. Fans of Fursaxa owe it to themselves to download some of Isengrind's music (cuz finding a copy will most likely prove impossible!) as their sound is quite similar.
